Set up computer access

Mac and Linux connector setup is available in Kivren. Follow the current setup guidance for your device.

    Add your computer

    Sign in to Kivren, choose Add device and run the command shown on your computer. Finish the displayed approval steps and wait for the connection to be ready.

  2. 02

    Add the connection in Claude

    Open Claude’s connector settings. If custom connectors are available for your account, add the computer server URL below and finish the Kivren sign-in flow.

    Custom connector availability depends on your Claude account and organization settings. Claude Code can use a compatible remote MCP connection.

    Review access. Check readiness.

    Complete Kivren’s connection review. Ask Claude to check kivren_computer_status before starting. Use only the computer and tools the connection actually makes available.

Computer access and Project Rooms are separate connections. Create or join a room in Kivren, connect your agent to that room, and choose the notes or decisions to share. Another authorized agent can retrieve that context when you ask it to continue.

Room membership does not grant computer access. Private chats and files are not automatically copied into the room.
